Competition Expected High in WBJEE 2026

WBJEE remains one of the most competitive state-level entrance examinations for technical admissions in eastern India. Every year, lakhs of students participate for admission into top institutions, including Jadavpur University, MAKAUT-affiliated colleges, government engineering colleges, and pharmacy institutes.

Last year, the examination witnessed a strong participation rate, especially in engineering streams. Education experts expect competition to remain high this year as well due to increasing demand for technical and professional courses.

Candidates are advised to utilise the remaining days effectively for revision, mock practice, and time management preparation before the examination.
