National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) has officially released a major recruitment notification for Non-Executive vacancies at its Mining & Refinery (M&R) Complex, Damanjodi. The Navratna PSU has invited online applications for multiple technical and operator-level posts, including Operator, Technician, Mining Mate, SUPT(JOT), Jr. Foreman, and Instrumentation roles.

Educational Qualification Required

The upper age limit for most T0 Grade Technician and Operator posts is 35 years. However, the age limit for SUPT(JOT) posts is 27 years, while Jr. Foreman positions carry a maximum age limit of 40 years.
Candidates applying for regular Grade III and Foreman-level positions are required to possess two years of relevant work experience. On the other hand, SUPT(JOT) trainee positions do not require prior experience.
NALCO has also provided age relaxation benefits for SC, ST, OBC(NCL), EWS, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and land-oustee candidates according to Government guidelines.
Selection Process for NALCO Non-Executive Recruitment
The selection process will primarily include a Computer-Based Test (CBT). The CBT will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions carrying one mark each.
The official notice states that the question paper will contain:
- 60% technical/domain-specific questions
- 40% General Knowledge and Reasoning questions
Candidates shortlisted in the CBT will be called for a Trade Test or Skill Test, depending on the post applied for. The Trade Test will be qualifying in nature. Final merit preparation will be based on CBT performance.
